Dr.
William D. Morrow
was elected to be the Chairman of the EMERGE Ministries Canada
Board of Trustees beginning November 1, 2005. Bill’s history
includes 3 pastoral charges, professor and dean of students at
Eastern Pentecostal Bible College, six years as Superintendent
of the Western Ontario District, and since January of 1997, General
Superintendent of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.
Bill is a
graduate of Concordia University in Montreal. He earned a master's
degree with a Pastoral Studies major in Counseling at Saint Paul
University in Ottawa and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the
United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Bill serves on the
boards of the Pentecostal World Fellowship; World Assemblies of
God Fellowship; the Pentecostal Charismatic Churches of North
America and EMERGE Ministries, Inc. Bill and his wife Sheila have
two children, a grandchild, and currently reside in Burlington,
ON.

Elmer
Squires
was elected to the Board of Directors of Emerge Ministries, Canada,
Inc., on November 1, 2005. Elmer is a Christian businessman, who
comes with a senior level corporate background, having had extensive
dealings with International Corporations and Governments in Canada,
U.S.A., Europe, Asia, and South America.
From 1964 to 1974 he managed resource development projects; serving
as Project Site Manager for the Churchill Falls Hydro Project;
General Manager of Twin Falls Power Corporation; Chairman of the
Central Labrador Environmental Authority; and Director of Twin
Falls Power Corporation. From 1974 to 1981 he was Executive Vice
President of Champion Road Machinery International; Director and
Vice President of Business Air Services Limited. During the period
from 1981 to the present he has been Vice President of Canadian
Tire Corporation Limited; President of El-Don Investment Corporation;
Director of Canadian Tire Dealers Association; and Chairman of
E & P financial Trust.
As a lay person, Elmer has served on church boards and has chaired
two church building committees. He is currently semi-retired,
married, the father of three adult children, and resides, seasonally,
in Halifax and Florida.

Dr. Tennille D.S. Paulsen has served on the Board of Directors of Emerge Ministries,
Canada, Inc. since January, 2006.
Tennille obtained her undergraduate degree in Physiology at the
University of Western Ontario, received her Doctor of Medicine at the University
of Toronto, and completed her training at Queen’s University. She is a member of the Christian Medical and
Dental Society.
Tennille
comes from a strong Christian background, and is very missions minded, and
ministry-focused, and she is committed to use her calling as a physician to
serve the Lord on both home and foreign mission fields.
Tennille
is currently practicing as a family physician within the First Nations
communities of the Muskegowuk Territory in remote northern Ontario, where she
lives with her husband, and their two children. She is actively involved, alongside with her family, in ministry and
outreach within their home church, and more globally with various missions organizations.

Rev.
M. Wayne Benson
was elected to serve as President and CEO of Emerge Ministries,
in Akron, Ohio. Prior to serving at Emerge, Wayne was elected
president of Central Bible College, and prior to that, he served
25 years as Senior Pastor at Grand Rapids First Assembly of God.
In 1996, Wayne and his wife Kathy launched a new ministry called
“Paraclete Ministries”, coming alongside as consultant
and mentor to pastors and missionaries in the U.S. and abroad.
Paraclete Ministries, continues to expand under both Emerge and
CBC. Both institutions provide training and leadership for selected
faculty and national pastors. Onsite Paraclete Consultation visits
include in-depth mentoring and conclude with a comprehensive report
shared with the pastor. Wayne and Kathy are the parents of two
married children serving God in fulltime ministry, and grandparents
to nine grandchildren.

Rev.
Craig Burton
has been serving Eastern Ontario District as a District Superintendent
for the Pentecostal Assemblies of God since May of 2005. Craig
graduated from Trent University in Peterborough in 1984 and then
worked for both the Canada Permanent Trust Company and Canada
Trust prior to attending and graduating from Eastern Pentecostal
Bible College in 1989. Craig’s pastoral experience extends
over 18 years in three churches. . He and his wife Wendy have
three children, Laura, Scott and Emily and make their home in
Whitby Ontario.

Al Saunders earned
a theological diploma in 1965, and has since continued life long
learning through St. Clair College in Windsor, ON, and Emerge
Ministries Inc. (Akron, OH) Institute of Pastoral Counseling.
Al earned a Certified Pastoral Counselor (CPC) degree through
the Evangelical Order of Certified Pastoral Counselors of America.
He is also a Charter Member of the American Association of Christian
Counselors.
During the period from 1963 to 1986 Al, and his wife Audrey, provided
pastoral leadership in a number of Ontario churches. In 1986,
as a staff member of Parkwood Gospel Temple in Windsor, ON, Al
established Parkwood Christian Counseling Center with a staff
of nine part-time paid and volunteer counselors handling approximately
2500 counseling sessions a year.
Al has also served as the Executive Assistant for the Counseling
Ministry at Crossroads Christian Communications in Burlington,
Director of Family Life Ministries, a registered non-profit ministry
he and Audrey established in January of 1994, and Chair of the
Clergy Care Taskforce with Focus on the Family and the Evangelical
Fellowship of Canada. Al and Audrey have recently relocated to
LaSalle, ON where they will be assisting their son, Kevin in planting
a church.

David
Scherbinsky has
served as an Emerge Ministries Canada Board of Director since
2006. David has been building custom homes in Toronto, Ontario
since the year 2000. He has been attending Warden Full Gospel
Assembly since 1973 and has been a Board Member there for the
past 3 years. David and his wife, Linda married in 1992 and have
3 wonderful children. Victoria age 11, David age 6 and Zachary
age 5, who all add a great deal of life, love and volume to their
home .
David is also involved in supporting a personal single mothers
foundation pioneered by his wife Linda in 2004. David and Linda
are committed to serving our Lord Jesus Christ and desire to be
used by him.
