Dr.
Warwick Cooper
has served as the EMERGE Ministries Canada Clinical
Director since 2006. Warwick was born in England and spent his
early years in Africa where his father managed a Palm Oil Plantation
for Lever Brothers. He has an undergraduate degree in Theology
from Northwest Baptist College in Vancouver, BC, an MA from
Providence Seminary in Manitoba and a DMin from Andersonville
Baptist Seminary in Atlanta.
Warwick
is member of the Association of Christian Counselors (AACC),
the Ontario Association of Counsellors, Consultants, Psychometrists &
Psychotherapists (OACCPP); a Certified Critical Incident Stress
Debriefer/Trainer with the Canadian Critical Incident Stress
Foundation of which he serves on the Board of Directors; President of
Compass Coaching International™, and a certified Biblical Life Coach
and Coach Trainer with Compass Coaching International™, a member of the Institute of Life Coach Training, and an Associate
with Young & Associates, a Life Coaching Firm.
Warwick
served as a missionary with Operation Mobilization in Asia for
ten years. He and his wife Annette have four children (3 girls
and 1 boy) ranging in ages from 30 to 22. He has been a Pastor
for the past 30 years and serves on a number of Boards and committees
in Canada and the USA. Warwick’s clinical direction to
EMERGE Ministries Canada is an extension of his position at
The Peoples Church in Toronto, Canada, where he serves as the
Pastor of Counseling and Family Ministries.
Managing Director

Rev.
Doug Rowley
has served EMERGE Ministries Canada since 2005. Doug has an
undergraduate degree in Theology from Master’s College and
Seminary, extensive training and experience in Human Resources and
Business Management, and membership with the Ontario Association of
Counsellors, Counsultants, Psychometrists, and Psychotherapists
(OACCPP)
Doug
is the Chaplain at the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus,
Vice-President of Compass Coaching International™, and a
certified Biblical Life Coach and Coach Trainer with Compass Coaching
International™. He has taught in colleges, pastored
small and medium size churches, and regularly speaks in a broad spectrum
of denominational and non-denominational churches.
He and his wife Suzanne have two children, two dogs,
and a very large cat. Doug is a hockey goal keeper and known locally as the Holy Goalie.
